Darcy, Rhonda, Kim and Stephanie came down from Bellingham for a Mariners game. We went out to the Crap Pot on the waterfront and had a lot of seafood. It is kind of expensive but really fun. They give you a bib and a hammer and you pound away at the crab.
We then headed to the game. All in all it was a lot of fun and thankfully we didn't get kicked out of our seats even though we were load, obnoxious and giving a group of Detroit fans a hard time (upper right hand corner in the orange shirt).
Eric and I took a trip to the property over 4th of July weekend. One thing we found on this trip was that the mosquitoes were pretty much unbearable. I was bitten 25 times just on my foot. Of course they were worst during the night and before the sun came up over the mountains. So we decided to that it would be fun to escape the mosquitoes for a while a do a little bit more exploring up the Entiat. We had checked out Silver Falls with Rich, Sena, Hugh, and Tony on Memorial Day, but there was so much to see up river so we just started driving to see what we could find.
We found huge rocks along side the road. You know how Eric loves rocks. We traveled a little further up river and found Entiat Falls. I was July, so the falls weren't running that fast, but it was still pretty cool and it is right next tot the road so you don't have to hike to see it. When it is flowing strong it completely covers the big rock. You can see it by clicking the link. It is a place I definitely want to visit in the spring.
We kept going and it became on dirt roads. I am not sure what the elevation was but we must have been pretty high. There was even a horse camp with ridding trails. The drive was mostly trees, but we did see one little critter up there.
