2 Month Checkup

Thomas had his 2 month checkup today. The doctor said all is looking good. Here are his stats.

He also got his shot today. He was not really happy about getting poked three times, but he survived. He has been pretty sleepy and a little fussy. Good news is that he is now is better protected from whooping cough and other stuff.

2 Months Old

Today Thomas is 2 months old.

Of course he's changed some more in the last month. He is still eating all the time and growing a lot. He has his 2 month check up on Wednesday. We will see how much he weighs. I am guessing he weighs about 15 pounds and has grown a couple more inches. And we had our first Mother's Day together.

He does like bath time a little better, or at least when he is not hungry. His eyes are still really blue. And he has also learned to blow bubbles and stick his tongue out. We can now make him smile. And he will kind of do a cooing laugh back at us.

 This is not a baby shower. There will be no baby games. All are welcome, women, men and children. But if you are sick please stay home. We will schedule another time for you to meet him.

This is a pot luck. We will be doing some BBQ hamburegers and hot dogs. We will also have beer and wine. So bring your favorite dish and we can all hang out and celebrate Thomas' birth. You can leave a comment with the dish you plan to bring.

People have been asking what we need and what they can get us.

We are registered at Babies"R"Us and Target.

We have a lot of baby clothes, but if you want to give us clothes please buy 6-9 months or older.
If you have already bought us a present please do not buy us another one.
We are already enjoying the wonderful gifts that you gave us.

First Mother's Day

I got to celebrate my first Mother's Day.

Eric was very sweet. He was working on the peninsula on Friday. For some reason he didn't come home till 11:30 that night and he would tell me what he was up to.

Mothers Day morning I wake up to roses in my office and a picture of a message written in the sand.

So apparently he went to Ocean Shores after work. And he brought me back a bunch of oysters, which I missed so much while being pregnant. And they were delicious. I also made myself and the grandparents a photo book of Thomas' Birth Story for Mother's Day.

We got to visit Grand Puz on Saturday. And there were a few other relatives visiting her as well that we got to see as well.
