2nd Soccer Game

We managed to get our game in before the rain again today. Lucky boys. Jake got his jerseys. They are the purple bobcats. He had fun playing today. Tommy got 2 goals today. And I don't know where this came from but he did the dab after scoring. What a weirdo. But he is loving it.

Bike Riding

The boys are really into riding their bike right now. They go cruising down the driveway and then slam on the breaks to make skid marks.

1st Soccer Game

The boys managed to dodge the rain storms and had a great dry soccer day. Jake almost scored a goal but got taken down right as he was putting it in. Tommy played goalie the first half. He made some good saves. And the second half he had a couple shots and did make one goal. They both also got the sportsmanship award for the game. Good job Bingham's!

The were calling for thunderstorms in the forecast. So of course the boys asked Alexa to play Thunderstruck. They didn't seem to care that it was 9 PM.

Lena's Soccer Game

We went to Lena's super rainy soccer game. Lena was in goal for the first half. And then she was on defense the second half. She played pretty tough. The boys decided they would race Uncle Tony around the track again.

Love this time of year. Making chili with fresh garden tomatoes. Jake is pretty excited too. His journal picture was too funny not to share.

Blinging at the Mariners Game

We got one last set of tickets for the season. And my mom happened to find a couple of fake gold chains at Granny's. So Tommy was really excited to go to the game bringing his bling. I made him a sign to go with his bling. i also made the boys a bunch of paper world series looking rings. Tommy also made his own sign that he was very excited about. Despite Jake sporting the rally cap we weren't able to pull out the win. But we had a good time.

Sandlot at the Drive-In

Doing the drive-in again. Tonight Bennie and Smalls are watching sandlot. Tommy's favorite movie. We couldn't resist dressing up again. We didn't really need to go looking for costumes. We have all the baseball stuff. We did have to look for a fish hat for smalls and PF flyers for Bennie. Thanks again Granny's. They thought they were pretty cool. We even got some big league chew for they boys. They had a great night.

Slip n Slide

The boys were pretty hot after their soccer game. So I set up the slip n slide. They came up with some sort of game of tag to play on the slip n slide.

Soccer Jamboree

The boys had their first soccer game yesterday. I will let Tommy's face describe for you how excited he was to play. I didn't get any pics of his goals because they were both playing at the same time and I was splitting time looking at the two fields. Jake seemed to have fun. They are just trying to figure out how the game works as in past years he was in the instructional league that did not play games. But I will let his face describe for you how excited he was for the post game ice cream.

Dinner with Carolyn and Ali

Ali came in to see Carolyn before she left for Arizona for the winter. So we had dinner from Mae's out at the Maury Marine Park lookout. It was a very beautiful sunset with a lenticular cloud sitting on top of Rainer.
