Valentine's Day

It was a snowy Valentine's Day. It snowed all morning and we spent some more time outside playing in it. This included a pretty good snow ball fight between me and the boys. I had to quit because my arm was sore. When we went in for lunch it then began to lightly rain so we spent the rest of the day inside and relaxing. Eric got me a very nice bouquet from Blooms.

Snow Day

Today was an exciting change of pace. We had about 10" of snow today. We spent a lot of time out playing in the yard. It was pretty powdery snow in the morning so the did some sledding, we went for a walk in the woods looking at animal tracks. Pretty sure we found deer, rabbit and squirrel tracks. They tried to do snow balls but really could only make a snow storm by throwing it up in the air. And there was also a lot of snow eating. Not sure why that was so exciting to them. Seems really cold to me, but they were enjoying themselves. We came inside for a break. After a few more hours of snow coming down we went back out. The snow on the top was a bit more wet. So we were able to get a snowman made. They also were able to get some snowballs made. We were all pretty exhausted at the end of the day after a lot of fun.
