The boys had their first baseball games today. Jake is doing T-Ball again. No funny business for him this year now that he is not the baby of the team. He managed to find all the bases :) Tommy is doing coach pitch this year. He has been learning a lot. It is a big jump from T-Ball so there is a lot more he has to learn. He hasn't made contact with the ball yet, but he will get there.

Day with Dad
While I was working today Jake had a day with Dad. They even went to go have lunch with Tom at school. They ran into Lena there. And Jake got to play on the playground for a little bit. Then apparently Jake took a nap. And after they picked up Tom from school they stopped at the beach to check out the low tide and find sand dollars. And then met me up town for pizza and the Trolls movie. It was a pretty full day :)

Easter
The boys had a fun and eventful Easter weekend of egg hunts, decorating eggs and visiting Grandparents. Jake kept seeming to mix up "I dyed the eggs" with "I diarrhea the eggs."

Mariner's Game with the Boys
I took the boys to their first Mariner's Game of the year. This was our first game with having all 5 seats in the front row. It was great. The whole family got to go and we had an extra seat to bring a friend. The boys actually sat in the seats for the whole game which was a first for them. They enjoyed their favorites, the play area and popcorn. They met the moose. Jake did a lot of dancing. It was a fun game.

I Can't. I Can't...Oh Wait. I Can.
The boys didn't have the most exciting spring break. We just stayed home and I worked all week. And on top if it, the whole week was rainy. But I had a chance to work on the boys with some of their school work that they have been having trouble with. Half the trouble has been both of them just looking at something and saying immediately "I can't do it". They spend most of the time it takes working on a task saying that and not even trying. So we worked on getting through hard things and not giving up. They boys fought it hard, but eventually they did accomplish things and all by themselves. Here they are with 2 puzzles they worked on that they both said that they couldn't do.

What is This Thing?
Tommy had his first coach pitch baseball practice. They coaches email said that he needed to wear a protective cup this year. I made Eric buy it. But of course he was not home and I had to help him figure out how to wear it. I explained why he needed to wear it so this is how he figured that would work :)
