Me and the whole family went to Ocean again this year like we do every year. This year we went to Long Beach again and rented the same house. It was a weekend packed full of the usual favorites.
It was the International Kite Festival. The first day we were there it was a little windy so there were a lot of kites up. We saw the guy who flies 3 kites at once again and that was pretty cool.

We went on a hike at the Leadbetter State Park. If was flat which was nice, but there were lots of mosquitoes because we went early in the morning, and there weren't that many birds because it was the wrong time of year. We did see some Common Terns in addition to the many Seagulls The path was a little narrow so I ended up carrying Lena on my shoulders for a good portion of the way back. But it was good exercise and nice scenery in places.

We went Boogie Boarding. The waves were great. I actually was a little sore the next day from how powerful they were. Some were like riding a roller coaster.

We buried Ryan again. We were going for an Octopus but it turned out more like a starfish. He was a good sport because he got a considerable amount of sand in his face since the kids were helping.

We also played some marathon games of risk every night. I can't say that I did too well. Some how Eric seems to try and whisper in every ones ear as to how they should play and it never turns out good for me.
