Eric and I went to his company party. A night out to ourselves. Doesn't happen very often. In fact I can probably count on one hand. We went to dinner Buca di Beppo hosted by Eric's new company, Harris Rebar, which bought out his old company Rainier Steel. It was a great dinner. I think there were about 5 meals and 3 types of desserts all set out family style. I was stuffed. And it was right near the Space Needle so of course we had to get a picture to show to Tommy because ever since he went up the Space Needle he loves to see it.

My Kitty
Jessi kitty keeps looking for attention so she keeps getting closer and closer to the boys. Jake loved having her curled up next to him like a cuddly pillow. Of course it only lasts while the boys are sitting still quietly. And they she runs for fear of her life :)
Saying Goodbye to Mary Ann
Sadly, after a battle with cancer, our dear friend Mary Ann Roberts has passed away. We are thankful that all her boys were able to be with her at the end. Eric was able to be there as well as a few other close friends of the boys. Eric and I have spent many great times together with Jack & Mary Ann, including every Christmas Eve since we've started dating. He even proposed to me on Christmas Eve at their house. And Eric's memories go many years farther back to his childhood. I like to think that fondly back at having a quiet dinner party with a nice glass of wine and a stroll through the garden.
Favorite Super Hero Day
Boys are getting ready for favorite super hero day. We have a whole box of costumes. They decided to go as Superman!

Silly Truck
We have a John Deere tracker toy that has a button on it that makes the tracker start up it's engine noise and vibrates as if it is working on the farm. Jake thinks it is the funniest thing.

Crabby
One of Tom's favorite foods is still crab. He gets very excited when he sees it. Especially the big ones. Jake is still undecided.
Snow Day
Boys are excited to see big flakes falling. Even though we just spent a couple days in 3 feet of snow they didn't get to see any fall. Tommy really wanted it to stick so we can make a snowman. Tommy did a snow angel. And we were able to scrape enough snow up in the driveway to get a snow man up.
