The boys started doing a cheer for their Angry Birds game. It was pretty cute.

Fastest Person in the World
Tommy told me he was the fastest person in the world. I didn't want to totally shoot him down. I let him know he could try really hard to get fast, but no. He is not the fastest person in the world. Then I showed the boys a video of Usain Bolt. After that they decided they need to try it out and wanted to race. That didn't go well because they both hate losing and there was some screaming and arguing. So I had them do time trials instead. They did it several times until they were exhausted.

Home School
All year long Tommy and I have been saving his best papers that have come home from school. Except a few special ones that I told him we could keep, the rest we recycled after I took a picture. We don't have space and have worked a lot on decluttering the last couple years. After seeing all the pictures he was fine with that. So I have made up a video of his favorite memories and papers from school so he can look back at all the fun.
He is still pretending to do school every day.
I didn't realize how much he enjoyed it till he was done. He would come home from school exhausted every day and I could get practically nothing out of him about his day. But now with all his free time he is going through all his favorite things from school. He learned so much this year. Tough life lessons that some adults still can't even get. He still has a lot of work to do and needs a lot of reminding, but I think he has those goals set in his mind now of what kind of person he wants to be and is working to get there.
