Eric and I went over to the property for Memorial Day. The river was raging pretty hard as it usually does this time of year. The weather wasn't that great, but at least it didn't rain too much and there also weren't a whole lot of mosquitoes which is a nice change.
We did see some more wildlife on this trip. I took a small hike with Blue up Coyote Falls. I came across a rattle snake, but he started making noise before I got too close so it wasn't that big a deal. We saw the long horned sheep along side the road by Lake Entiat. And we also saw this little critter traveling up the road to Jim & Lynn's house when we went to go drop some rebar off. I think he is a prairie dog or something.
Eric and I went up to Silver Falls again to check it out and see how hard it was flowing. Eric only went a little ways up and then sat at one of the benches next to the waterfall. He sat with Blue and had a little snack while I hiked to the summit and then down the other side. The waterfall was going pretty strong and it was a very nice hike. Here are some pictures.
