The Rock Wrestling Tournament
We took the boys to see a little bit of The Rock wrestling tournament. They didn't watch too much. But they did meet up with some of their Rockbuster friends. And Eric got to hand out with some of his friends.

Christmas
We had an exciting Christmas morning. The boys got their remote control monster trucks from Santa like they wanted. They also got another special present from him. Monster Truck tickets. Tommy was so excited he almost knocked me over. We opened all the rest of our presents and then headed to my parents house to hang out with the family. It was great to see everyone and the boys had a great day.

Christmas Eve
The boys got to open one present today. Mom's choosing. I let them open their new hedge trimmers so they could go outside and keep themselves busy in the woods for a while :) Before bed we set out Santa's cookie and some eggnog. We also put out a little cookie for the tooth ferry. We also put Jake's tooth under his pillow. Magically they actually went to sleep fairly quickly. Probably because they were going nuts all day :)

Jake Lost His First Tooth
Jake has had a wiggly tooth for a couple day. This morning on Christmas Eve it fell out during breakfast.

Christmas Ornament
We made our annual Christmas ornament. This year I am posting the actual video because parts of it are pretty cute. Usually we have to try so many times to get something good and the video is super choppy and bad. This year they were totally playing it up for the camera.

Winter Sing-A-Long
I was able to catch the Winter Sing-A-Long on my lunch break. The Kindergartens got to put on their own little special performance. Which Jake had a little issue with his pants :) And then I got to hear the song that I have been hearing about for weeks. I want a hippopotamus for Christmas.

Cookie and Fudge Day
The boys and I made a bunch of cookies yesterday. And today we went to Grandma's to make sugar cookies and fudge. Jake loved making the fudge. And Tom loved cutting out the cookies. And they both loved the sprinkles. A bit too much if you ask me. We got a new cookie cutting in the shape of Vashon Island. Very cool.

Santa Pictures
We went to the Eagles for the Santa pictures. They had a lot of fun crafts for the kids. The boys were the first in line and it was super fun and easy. The picture turned out great.

Christmas Tree
We got a Christmas Tree out of our yard again this year. Not the best tree ever but it worked out fine. I also got the boys a tiny fake tree that they could decorate in their toy room so hopefully they would leave mine alone. They love the Christmas decorations.

What a Puzzler
Jake decided that he wanted to do puzzles again. It has been a while. He must be doing some at school. He is pretty good at them now. He was never interested as puzzles when he was younger like Tommy was.
He Thinks He's So Smart
Tommy thinks he's so smart. Read the instructions and then what he wrote. We have working on reading and writing at home to earn reward time I have been giving them little worksheets or have them read me books. Well today Tommy thought he could get the best of me. What a smart !&$.
Harry Hair Day
The boys had Harry Hair Day at school. Jake also had Pajama and Stuffie Day. It was also a late star day so the boys were pretty excited all morning.

Eric's birthday was on a Monday this year. Since we have wrestling on Monday's we celebrated on the weekend with his favorite dinner chicken enchiladas. But on Monday the boys sent Eric a little birthday message.

We went over to Tony and Susan's for Thanksgiving. The boys had a lot of fun raking leave in the yard into a big pile and jumping in them. The kids also rode bikes. And then we had a great dinner.

Inter Squad Rockbuster Tournament
The boys had an Inter Squad Rockbuster Tournament today. They did great. Jake scored lots of points and even went into overtime in his first match. No wins for him but he battled hard. Tommy got one win today and got pinned on the other. But he really tried his best today. Thanks to all of the Pirate highschoolers for being great mentors today.

Folding Laundry
Ever since this summer when I was on crutches I have been having the boys help with putting away laundry. Usually they just shove things in a drawer. Sometimes any drawer that has space. Today Tom decided he was going to perfectly fold everything in his dresser.
Backyard Biking
The boys rode their bikes around the yard. Jake is getting better at his pedal bike but still needs some work on his steering.
