Jumping

Tom was playing around with his cats. He has found some of the cat toys and has been trying to give them to the cats to play with. So I got out the laser pointer because I thought it would be funny for him to see the cats play. Well, Tom thought he should chase the light too. The funniest part was when he tried to jump. His first couple attempts were pretty funny. On his second one he actually fell on his back. I couldn't stop laughing. Here are some of his later attempts.

Visit from Dani

Cousin Dani made a trip into town from Florida. It was so great to see her, her husband Paul and her son Bennett. We had a little party at our house so that the family could all see her. The kids had a lot of fun in Tom's play room.

It's a Boy

Well, Tom is going to have a baby brother. No idea on a name yet.

Bubbles

Tom went to a birthday party for Isabella at Pump it Up in Tacoma. Most of the things were too big for him to do. Even the bounce house was a little scary to him. So he mostly played with the small stuff. One of his favorite things was the bubbles. It was a huge bubble machine and he had a lot of fun jumping around in the bubbles.

Playing with Daddy

Every day Tom can't wait till Daddy gets home. Once he does Tom brings him to all of his toys and wants to play. Of course this is his favorite time of day.

Basketball

Tom got a basketball hoop from Santa this year. Don't worry everyone. We are not trying to pressure him into basketball over wrestling. It was for a very practical reason. Tom had already come up with his own version of basketball. He would toss his hot wheels across the room into his toy bucket. So we figured if we got him a basketball hoop and taught him how to do it, then he would stop playing his version of basketball. So far it has worked and he seems to like it.

Twinkle Twinkle

Tom has figured out how to sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.
We sing it every night when we turn out the lights and turn on his stars night light.

Playground

We were driving around town looking for the party we were going to. We were early and saw a cool little park so we stopped and let Tom play. He had fun, especially in the little train they had there.
