Eric and I spent the Fourth of July out at the property. Tony, Susan and Lena were also there. This was their first time at the property in a couple of years, so they were glad to be back. Rich and Sena were at their property and had some friends staying with them. So there was lots of people and lots of fun. We ate lots of good food, hung out by the campfire, and enjoyed the sun. The only downfall was the bugs. When we first arrived we opened the camper and it was infested with ants. That was fun to get rid of. I did not sleep well the entire trip. I kept having nightmares about ants crawling on my. And there was also a ton of mosquitoes. We did the best we could to keep them off of us. But, all in all it was a great trip.

Memorial Day at the Property
Like always we headed over to our property for Memorial Day. Cara and Daren came with us. It was nice to have company. The weather was great. Sunny most of the time but not too hot. And there were almost no mosquitoes. We were so excited about that. The river was raging pretty high so we did not go in.

We did go up to Silver Falls. Eric and Darren stayed at the foot of the hill, while Cara and I did the hike. And we took Cara's dog Pia with us. The waterfall was raging. It was spraying so much that you could feel the mist coming off of it if you stood below. Felt nice on a hot day. It was awesome.

I had to get a new cell phone about a month ago because my last one broke. So I got a Droid. It has an app you can download that can track your GPS and map where you go. Here is the map. The top of Silver Falls is 3,014 feet. We hiked 664 feet in elevation to get there.

Opening Day
It is baseball season again! I brought Cara with me to opening day. Opening Day is always exciting with all the festivities. And this year Randy Johnson came back to throw out the first pitch. Of course the pitch was caught by Dan Wilson. And Jay, Edgar and Griffey all went out there as well. It was pretty exciting. The Mariners didn't win but it was a pretty fun game.

Thank You for Your Support
Eric and I want to thank all of you who support us as we did the MS Walk. It was such a great day. It really meant a lot to our friend Cara. And it really felt good to actually be able to do something for her. Thank you!
