Day 52
The boys did some extra credit PE again today because they felt like it. The did the K-2 PE yesterday, and did the 3-5 PE today. It involved coming up with your own silly game to do. Tom came up with an obstacle course. Jake came up with a drag a car behind you kind of run game.
We took the boys for a drive today since it has been 50 days since we have left the house. They were excited to get out. A little sad to see things. They were sad that the playgrounds had signs that said closed. We did stop by my parents house to drop them off some fish. The boys said hi across the lawn and ran around for a bit. We also drove past all the water fronts we could think of to give the boys a good view. We stopped briefly at the beach by portage to let them out as no one else was there. They looked for crabs and were very happy.
We went home. The boys got to watch a show while we had game night with Tony, Susan, Wes and Emily using jackbox. It was pretty fun. The boys gave us space which was nice for a change. Apparently both of my brothers went on an aid call to pick up a DB this week. The funeral director noticed the person had COVID toes once they were at the funeral home. So they have been taken off shift to shelter at home. Ug.
